FAMILY PICTURES!

We tried to get family pictures done when we went up to Centeral where my dad lives. When we got there it was windy and then we didn't quite pick the best time to take pictures because the sun would randomly get us in the face and then of course to get two little one to cooperate and smile at the same time is always a chore. This picture will do for now but I hope to get another one before the season ends.

I could not get Naomi to look at the camera in this one, she is tough
Naomi only wants to do things if she wants to do them. Right now we are trying to get her off of that bottle and boy, it has been a struggle.

Tayler's picture would have been cute if the wind wasn't blowing in her face. She loves getting her picture done so she usually cooperates pretty good.

The Beast of a Turkey

Amy and I got up at 7 a.m to tame this beast. This thing weighs 25 lbs and we were having a heck of a time getting it in the oven, and then after all that we over cooked it. If any of you have seen Christmas Vacation you will know what this reminds you of. The overcooked turkey that you go to cut and it pops open hollow with a puff of steam. It luckily had a lot of meat on the bottom, enough to have leftovers for a week, it was disappointing but good for a laugh.

Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving was really nice this year, we had most of my family come to st. george but my brother Jason was not able to come. The picture of the girls from the left you got my sister Amy, Mom, Me, my sister Mindy and my sister in law Jesika. It's typical having a picture with the girls in the kitchen and the guys parking it on the couch watching football. From the left with the guys you have my Dad, Billy ( Mindy's fiance ) my brother Chris, Hubby, and my brother in law Brian and then you got Tayler's face popping in at the last minute.

We had really hoped to get out and do something with everyone but it rained for two days so on Saturday we went up to Centeral where my Dad lives and hiked around and took family pictures, and then that night we went to dinner at my moms and made christmas rings that count down the days until christmas. we figured this would be a fun activity for the three year olds but they were more interested in taking scissors and chopping up lots of paper into itty bitty pieces which, I don't blame them.

Swimming with the Girls!!

We went swimming over at my friend Lisa's house. If you give Tayler a tube, she will float around the water forever and she loves it. Naomi however, does okay for a little bit and then she wants to get out and eat. She is quite the eater. She will eat anything and everything, which has been nice because Tayler was such a picky eater. For the most part, my girls love the water!! It has definately been different having two. I think If Naomi was my first kid, I probably wouldn't have had anymore kids. Tayler is so soft spoken and sweet and Naomi is so loud and abnoxious. I love her to death, but she has kept me on my toes.

Camping!!!

We went camping!! Ever since we have started the gym we have not been able to go anywhere. We only drove about 40 minutes from our house, we had a lot of fun and the girls loved it.Tayler loved staying up and roasting marshmellows on the fire and hiking and sleeping in one big bed with Rodger and I. Naomi slept clear through the night which was a huge relief and slept until about 8:30 the next morning so she was in a pretty good mood.
This is Labor Day weekend and we went with some friends just overnight. I didn't get there until about 9:00 at night because I had to work but we stayed up late (of course ) and went hiking the next day, Tayler was so excited to go hiking until she learned that she was walking and Naomi was in the pack, she also came home with a hole in her shoe from getting to close to the fire. It was a good break for us with all the crap that is going on with the gym. We Needed It!!!

Update

Rodger and I are doing great, we never have any pictures of us because we spend so much time taking pictures of our two crazy little ones. Right now we are happy to say that we are getting a place of our own. The gym costed us so much money that we had to move in with my mom for a little bit, but it was worth it because we were able to catch up. We are definitely ready for a vacation. We haven't been anywhere since August, not even camping. Hopefully in the next month or so we can atleast go visit Rodger's family in Washington State.

4TH of JULY

The 4th was mine and Rodger's first day off together since we got the gym going four months ago so it was nice. In the morning we took the girls to the park and they did the races and won a price and then we went shopping and swimming. Then we had a barbeque with our friends Lisa and Adam. By then both of our girls were so exhausted but we couldn't do that on the 4th and call it a night so we went down to the sunbowl and watched fire works. Tayler thought that they were going to burn her, she kept ducking her head down to stay away from it. Naomi didn't know what to think about them, is all I know is that it took her two days to recover from that day because she was so exhausted.

NAOMI'S 1

I can't believe my baby is one already. Where did the time go! I guess with how crazy and busy things are right now it shouldn't surprise me. Naomi loved ripping the wrapping paper and when we gave her a cupcake she got so excited. Tayler thought that whole day that it was her birthday so we went out and got her a present also, which may have been a bad thing but they both had a blast. Ever since Naomi turned one it seems like she went staight into being a toddler. She is into EVERYTHING!!! I don't remember Tayler being that adventurous, I can't even go outside without her putting a rock in her mouth. I love it though, it keeps me on my toes. She is at a very tough age but also a very good age. Tayler and her are starting to play a lot together which makes it easier on me not to have to entertain all day. My favorite is when they start chasing each other around the house and they are both laughing histerically at each other. It is so cute! I don't know what I would do without them. I LOVE BEING A MOM!!
